Let us create a home from home. When Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in1964, he revolutionised homewares retail in Britain and across the world. For the first time, accessories were sold alongside larger pieces of furniture, introducing a synergy of design in the home and inspiring the now ubiquitous term, Ôlifestyle'. As a leader in home innovation, Habitat brought exciting new products into the UK market. Today, life without a duvet or the simple garlic press seems inconceivable but back then they broke the mould of everything that had gone before. Never one to rest on its laurels, the Habitat group continues its quest to break new ground to this day. Enthusiastically sourcing inspiration from around the world, we also maintain a top-flight design team that comprises up-and-coming new names and iconic figureheads as well as in-house creatives and free-thinking, independent designers.
